The Steinway Model “L” is known throughout the piano world as a world-class conservatory instrument, found in countless music colleges, private schools and teaching studios, churches, and the homes of advanced, dedicated pianists.
This Model “L” was built during the period that the Steinway family still controlled all aspects of manufacturing – long before the company was purchased by CBS in the early 1970s; and before they started incorporating the infamous “Permafree” Teflon action in the 1960s.
It was fully rebuilt in 2001 by Premier Piano rebuilder Nick Gravagne: New action, soundboard, bridges, and pinblock. The case, however, is in its original condition. And, the real ivory & ebony keytops are intact.
Here is a chance to own a world-class Steinway piano, at a fraction of the new price, that will serve the needs of a motivated pianist at any level.
