Steinway M grand pianos were originally introduced in 1911 and were for many years the most popular size Steinway produced. This lovely Steinway Model M is a 5’7″ grand piano, a model often referred to as the “medium grand” for its balance of size and performance. It’s an ideal size for a typical living room or parlor yet large enough to be considered suitable for an advanced player. The dynamic range is impressive for a smaller piano; it has all the attributes of a performance-level grand. It combines manageable dimensions with the tonal depth and projection expected from a Steinway grand.
