Kohler & Campbell SKG500S Traditional Baby Grand

Founded in 1894, Kohler & Campbell was one of the many successful piano builders that came from New York.  Known for quality vertical and small grand pianos, they were found in homes across the USA.

Like most of these companies, they were eventually sold to a larger Asian manufacturer; in this case Samick, a very successful S. Korean musical instrument builder.

This Korean-built baby grand is the traditional size at 5′ 1″ and will fit quite well in a smaller room.  It still has a surprisingly well-balanced sound for its small size — perfect for a beginner or intermediate pianist on a budget wanting the touch of a grand piano action without sacrificing too much space.
