Kawai GE1 Classic Japanese-made Baby Grand #1

This is #1 of 2 Kawai GE1 baby grands currently available.  This one is in a polished mahogany veneer and is the younger of the two.

Kawai’s GE1 was the smallest of the well-regarded mid-level GE series.  At 5’ 1” it is a classic baby grand size.   Intended mostly for the private pianist as a home practice instrument, it still found its way into the institutional world of teachers, schools, and churches that had smaller spaces, often as a secondary instrument.

This eye-catching polished mahogany GE1 was maintained in very good condition by its owners who needed to downsize – they chose a smaller new Yamaha upright.  It had a player system installed but that no longer functions properly so we will remove it on request.  The piano has been priced based only on its acoustic attributes.
