Boston by Steinway UP118S Professional Studio

In 1991 Steinway introduced the Boston line of pianos for pianists seeking high performance at a more affordable price than the New York handmade instruments.  They partnered with the Japanese builder Kawai, who could produce less expensive pianos to Steinway’s specific scale designs.

The UP118 is a solid, reliable, professional 45” studio intended for workhorse duty in the most rigorous music institutions around the world — where you find Steinway, you will also find Boston.

This piano is in good condition – perfect for a serious player on a tight budget looking for a proven instrument with good dynamics, touch, and tone.
