Around 2016 Bösendorfer shocked the piano world by introducing the first of it’s newly reimagined VC (Vienna Concert) scale design, appearing first in the model 280 concert grand.  The intention of the new design is to provide more power and projection of sound for performances, especially alongside orchestras and other instruments.  It’s been a tremendous success.
