This is #2 of 2 Kawai GE1 baby grands currently available.  This one is in a satin walnut veneer and is the older of the two.

Kawai’s GE1 was the smallest of the well-regarded mid-level GE series.  At 5’ 1” it is a classic baby grand size.   Intended mostly for the private pianist as a home practice instrument, it still found its way into the institutional world of teachers, schools, and churches that had smaller spaces, often as a secondary instrument.
