Weinbach by Petrof Handcrafted Walnut Demi-Chip Professional Studio

The Czechoslovakian Weinbach piano company became part of the famous Petrof family brand in 1985.

Currently, the Weinbach instruments are positioned as ‘middle-range’ pianos by Petrof and are not manufactured in Europe.

However, until the early 2000s, the Weinbach pianos were produced by Petrof in the Czech Republic and were virtually the same construction-wise.  Only the cabinet details were different.

This gorgeous, polished walnut “Demi-Chip” studio has the classic “European” singing tone that Petrof pianos are known for – a pleasure to see and play.  These Czech studio pianos have a particularly deep, rich tone that approaches the sound of a small grand piano.  It’s well-suited for a serious player at any level.
