Ritmuller R8-SP Silver Plate Baby Grand

The Ritmuller piano heritage goes back to 1795 in Germany, making them one of the oldest piano names in Europe.  Although the name is now owned by Pearl River – the largest piano builder in the world – the intent to continue making a “European” piano is still intact.  Ritmuller is now Pearl River’s premium piano line, built with higher-end components such as sand-cast plates, Renner hammers, Roslau strings, aged solid spruce sound boards, etc.

This R8-SP baby grand is part of a special purchase we made.  It is a discontinued model that was built in 2021 but is technically new and will come with a new factory warranty and be sold at a significantly reduced price.

At 4’11” it is Ritmuller’s smallest grand and will take up less space in your music room.  The silver plate and hardware give this piano a modern, futuristic look.

The all-wood action coupled with the Renner hammers give it a distinctly more European singing quality than most other Asian pianos.  It would be an excellent instrument for a motivated beginner to intermediate player.
