The Ritmuller piano heritage goes back to 1795 in Germany, making them one of the oldest piano names in Europe.  Although the name is now owned by Pearl River – the largest piano builder in the world – the intent to continue making a “European” piano is still intact.  Ritmuller is now Pearl River’s premium piano line, built with higher-end components such as sand cast plates, Renner hammers, Roslau strings, aged solid spruce sound boards, etc.

This 5’ 7” GH170R is considered a ‘music room’ grand – large enough to have a full dynamic range yet not too large that it won’t fit nicely into a parlor or living room.

It was kept in excellent condition by its owner who is moving out of state and cannot take the piano.  It’s well suited to a player desiring the touch and tone of a grand at an affordable price.
