Used & Restored Pianos

Look Alikes?

Although one of these pianos is new and the other restored, can you tell them apart?

Piano on the left is a new Nicholas W. Schimmel Special Edition in high polished ebony, with quilted maple accents.

Piano on the right is a restored Steinway & Sons Hamburg O, built in 1906. It was refinished to its original color and lustre in Flame Honduran Mahogany by Classic Pianos.

Piano technicians at Classic Pianos of Portland, Oregon pay particular attention to every detail when restoring vintage pianos back to new performance levels — as photographed here in its historic Restoration Shoppe.

PianoWerkes customers enjoy all the advantages of our partnership with Classic Pianos . . . and of its nationally-recognized Classic Collection of heirloom-quality restored pianos . . . by receiving larger selection, higher quality, and lower prices than if we had our own PianoWerkes shop here in Albuquerque.

Pianos in our CLASSIC COLLECTION are restored carefully by researching, then replacing, whenever possible, all parts and materials used by each manufacturer for each piano — by its own serial number.

All restoration work is performed in the United States by a team of Steinway-trained and Certified Master Technicians. Guarantees are as good as, or better than, warranties provided by the original manufacturer.
